I was looking at this. I was wondering if it is a Davis VF. Can anyone else tell? I know it could be something else set into the cabinet, but... Might be a great find for the right person.

Nice looking cabinet but I can't see the machine very well. Wish I lived closer to Omaha.

I lightened it up and tried to make it bigger. Making it bigger just made it blurry. Hopefully this might help.

Boy, those sure aren't very good photos, are they? I usually enjoy trying to identify machines from crummy CL photos, but I am stumped!

No, not a Davis. It says "Reliable" machine...it is probably a badged National or something like that. Davis did badge some machines in the early 1900's, but never a Vertical Feed. All the VFs are clearly marked Davis.

Thanks for the information about Davis. I did not know they made badged machines.
I guess I won't be going to look at this one.
