Plate underneath says product of France--motor made in Japan--anyone have a manual so I could get a copy of threading directions?

Yipppeeeee!
I have it running and sewing--jury rigged a foot by having the screw barely holding the foot--still not tight enough down to the plate to work right when sewing, but at least can get the Xmas presents quilted!
