Default DH $5 solution for Singer 401A

I have been looking for a cabinet for my baby a Singer 401A and have not had any luck within my budget. I walked in the house today and I see my baby set in a desk. My DH got a desk for $5 at the thrift store cut a whole to fit and this is what I saw.................

What a sweet man to do that for you! And look how perfect the placement is, you'll be able to sit right in front of the needle!!

How great is that? I use a desk for my sewing but it is not set in----good for you!

He did an amazing job it fits in so tightly there is no wiggle at all, it's right where I would have asked it be. I never realized he was paying that much attention. He got his favorite dinner and I think I have said "Thank You", "GREAT JOB!!!!", "I'm soooooo proud of you", and so on till he seems to be a bit uncomfortable with it now. So had to post one here to give him a break.
