I just bought a Singer Model TM-10L-E, serial # AF209294. Can anyone tell me more about it? I'll post a picture later. I still have to figure out how to get out of the car. It's in good condition and came in a sewing cabinet. The cabinet could use some work but the machine looks like it just needs cleaning. The only thing missing was the pressure foot but I have some old Singer's that probably will fit. It didn't have accessories or a manual but it does work.

It seems from the registration number that it was made and distributed in April 1939 from the factory in Elizabeth port New Jersey.There are a number of websites with all the Singer registation details. Hope this helps

I found it. It was made in 1939. It's a Model 15 according to the Singer site.

I found info on my Model 15, 1918 also made in Elizabethport Factory, New Jersey. You can find more, including how to purchase the manuals (approx. $15). Google or GoodSearch under "Ehow.com" and also Singerco.com and Ismacs.net Do not oil without the manual. The websites show guides for manufactured dates and mechanics in your area. I had the best help in restoring mine with the help of a Singer technician.

Ooops! I was reading your model number, my machine is a hand crank portable machine model #28, made Jan. 3, 1918, my manual was $15.00 for a hard copy. Also uses the old vibrating shuttle. Have fun with yours.
