Joe, and others, I'm just a dummy when it comes to computers, mostly just a self taught old lady, but I discovered that if I click on the attachment number, it will open in another window and I can see it and print it off!! YEA!!!

Monica, thank you for posting those photos. I too wouldn't have know about the springs without this conversation and the photos. I have most of the second group of photos - the darning/applique' feet - but it is so interesting seeing them all together so we can decide which ones we have and which ones we 'need' to get!

Question...How does that last one, the one to turn a regular foot into a hopping foot work? I've been trying, and can't seem to wrap my mind around it!
Second question... I WANT one, how hard are they to find?

I'll add a picture or two on that one later today. The straight "bar" rides on top of the needle clamp screw. The other end is attached to the presser foot bar. Therefore the foot gets lifted with the needle just like any other darning/ hopping foot. I have used it with a zigzagmachine's "button sew on" foot which gives great visibility. I do hope that that was clearer than mud.
