Default DIY Electrolytic Rust Removal

So i found this on the internet and i thought y'all might find it interesting. www.instructables.com/id/Electrolytic-Rust-Removal-aka-Magic/ It could be useful for removing rust.

Wow, I have been trying to refinish on old windmill and the rust is heavy...will try this and if it works on the windmill...might try it on one of my old machines.

It works very well on old cast iron. I've used it quite a bit when rebuilding my old wood working machines. It also works well on loosening old paint on them as well. I use an old Rubbermaid storage tub for the container.
