Does a 403 zigzag?

Default Does a 403 zigzag?

I am thinking of buying a vintage sewing machine. I have uhhh several, but I don't have one that zigzags.
Any help is

A Singer 403 is my go to machine - I love the simplicity - a post I made a while back - the same differences would apply to a Singer 401 & a Singer 403:

You need the "0" cam, the 403 & 503 have no cam stack and relies solely on cams for anything beyond a straight stitch.
