Default Estate Sale find! Singer 15K88 so excited.

Went to an estate sale a couple of weeks ago walked into the sewing room and there she was....across the room...calling me to take her home. Well that sounds so dramatic...but close. The wooden cover is in perfect condition, the machine is almost mint and runs like a charm. Got her for $100 and had to have my son carry it out..must weigh 40 lbs. Can't take this one to retreat, unless I sew in my truck.
I did a search to try and get some information: the serial number indicates the machine was made in 1949; the machine has "Great Britain" under Singer; the model number didn't come up on the Singer site. The machine must have been made and sold in Great Britain? If any one can offer information to help me out let me know.
All the cords are original and not frayed, when I opened the side compartment the original manual was tucked inside. Her stitch is just lovely. The woman that had her really took great care and kept her oiled and humming. Attached a few pictures.
Thank you for looking, I just had to share this new member of the sewing room.

She's beautiful Daisy!! Congrats on your new "Lady of the House"!!
The "K" indicates that she was made at the Kilbowie, Scotland plant. What is her serial number?

Beautiful machine and case. Especially the case, don't often see one so good. It does look as if the foot pedal has been re-wired at some point, usually the wire is black.

Thanks, Carlee; Serial EE963433, looked it up on the Singer site, that is how I came to the 1949 manufacture date. Wondered what the "K" meant, that is good information. Didn't mention that the manual does say printed in Great Britain.

Now that I know she was built in Scotland, will have to come up with a cute Scottish name for the Lass. "giggling"
