Default Excited! My First Treadle!

So we are visiting my sister in eastern Tennessee and there is a yard sale right across the street. I am not a yard sale person usually, but I do like a good bargain.
Any how. ...I have been whining to hubby that I want a treadle. Of course he says I have too much. Lol

So here it is. I did look up the number and if I did it correctly, it is a 1924 Sphinx. The decals and wood/veneer are almost perfect. And the gold leafing on the iron is not bad. If anyone can help me with value, that would be great.

Ok. I apologize. In my excitement I forgot to change my picture size before I took the photos. Going to use my sister's laptop. So pictures posted soon.

I love yard sales, but can't help you with the value but I do know that I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Lovely. Around here something like that would sell for $200.00 up. Just curious what you paid for it?

She was asking $250 and said people make furniture out of them and that it was her mother's. And that someone was already interested in it. This lady was probably 65 and her mother had passed away. I told her I was a quilter and I am going to use it. Then I offered her $175. She said yes! I was so happy. Might have paid too much but I don't plan on reselling it....ever.
