Question Featherweight 222 from the UK

I've been doing a good job of holding off buying anymore wonderful vintage machines, but last week I found a 222 Featherweight for a very good price in the UK and bought it. I have a spare motor I want to put on this as I don't want to sew using a transformer. The question I have is the plug on the machine where the foot pedal plugs in is not like my other FWs. The prongs are flat. Will I have to change that receptacle since I'm changing out motors? I know I have to change the "plug" on the foot pedal as it won't work in US receptacles.

thx.....FW addict....Diane
