Default Goodwill Find: SouthEastern WI

I was at Goodwill today and saw a sewing machine cabinet. After reading about the machines people find I took a peek. There was an old singer. Looked pretty old to me. But, what do I know. I know nothing about old Singers. It was $10.00. I looked for a number but found nothing.

if you do not mind answering a few questions we might be able to help you.

1. Was it Black?
2. Was it Electric (did it have a motor)

Here is a picture of the typical "old singer" that shows where the numbers are.

For $10.00 I would've snapped it up in a NY minute. Hope you bought it. If I were you and you didn't get it, I would pass go and run to get it ASAP.

No, I didn't buy it. It looked pretty *tough*. There was no plate over the bobbin. I'm not that smart on older sewing machines. It did have a motor and it looked like the one mentioned. I could go back if anyone is interested in it.
