I found a featherweight for sale and it sounds like it is complete and in excellent condition for $360. Is that a fair price?

Unless it's a 221 white or 222 I think it's kinda high.

Prices vary by location, but I think $360 is a bit high, even for a 221. I think you can do better. I have bought/sold many for less than that.

Personally, I think that is way too high. Because of their current collectible status the prices of FWs have been inflated way beyond their worth They are good little machines but If you are patient you can find one at a garage sale, flea market or on auction sites such as eBay for much less. I would not pay that much.

I agree with the others....price is too high.
It states......"handsome reproduction case"......this means it is not the original case? I would also look for a scroll faceplate.

I paid less than $200 for mine with original case, attachments, bobbins, and shipping!! I'd keep looking around if I were you!

I paid $220 for mine and it's all there including the manual, in fabulous condition AND was a momento to remember my highschool English/French teacher. I would have offered less but it was an estate sale and someone had already left a lower than asking price bid. I didn't want to get into a bidding war and have to pay even more so I gave them the asking price.
