Question featherweight wool felt pads

Does anyone have any information about the QB member that was making the different colored felt pads? I believe she/he said they would be available for sale. I want to order some.

What about the large pads that go in the bottom of the Featherweight?

I just bought some felt squares and traced them out and cut - like the different colors, too.

I just got my first featherweight yesterday...have to clean it up and hopefully get rid of the musty smell. Can I cut my own wool felt drip pad or is there something special about the purchased ones? I'm very excited about her and have already been sewing with her. Is that a mistake, since I don't know when she was last cleaned and oiled?
