Default Someone need to give this Parlor Singer a good home...

It is too modern for it to be in part of my collection, but this thing is just amazing!
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/atq/3729736003.html

I have conversed with the owner, and he really "knows nada" (his words) about sewing machines.

He asked if "I" thought the price was fair.
I explained the mercurial nature of the sewing machine collecting universe...

I just wanted to post this because this cabinet and machine are in SUCH good condition, I felt someone here needs to become the new caretaker.

I know that feeling. The seller seems like a real decent sort. If you mention that "Steve" referred you you could probably talk him into a lower price or a delayed pickup. He says that it is currently in a storage facility...

Both are in terrific condition. Someone took very good care of them.
