That is much higher than I would pay. I purchased a Singer Red Eye model 66 treadle for $100. It was in very good condition. Just thought I would give MHO

Ditto all of the above. Go to thrift stores and garage sales. You can find nice machines for very little.

$300.00 is too much for that machine.

It looks well used or abused. The cabinet is really nice, but I would be very hesitant to pay $300.00 for it.

I agree. 300 is too much. Maybe if everything was in perfect condition. Like no silvering of the decals. But in that condition I would say 100 TOPS and only if you totally love it. Prices vary in different locations.

I agree with the other posts....much too high for an off brand machine. Also agree that the seller should have taken some time to clean it up if they expect that high a price.

It's not a "badged" machine, "Free" was an actual manufacturer...contrary to popular belief, there were MANY companies that actually manufactured their own brand name machines.

That being said. It's not worth $300 in my opinion. She may find someone with more dollars than sense to pay that for it, but those people are few and far between these days.
I might go $100 on it, but I'd resist it.

Looks in rough shape. If she did alot of cleaning on it she might get that price but I do not believe it will sell for that much as it sits right now. I have seen alot nicer looking ones go for alot less.
