Default Need Help with a Vintage Canadian Sewing Machine

Hello Everyone,
Just wondering if anyone know's anything about Comrie Sewing Machine CC. I got this machine today for a steal of a price at 10$ and it seems to be in mint condition. Definitely needs a check up and a tuning but everything glides well when hand cranked. Not going to plug in until its looked at.

From what little I can figure out this machine was made in Edmonton Alberta, and its a Comrie Model S115908

The motor is a 110V Good Housekeeper Eureka Model E20.

It has an attached "over head" light as well which connects with the motor/footpedal cord.

The foot pedal is made in Toronto.

Photos are attached and any information you might know about it would be greatly appreciated as I have not been able to find anything except it looks similar to a 1950's dress maker special.

Thanks!

Here is the main pictures
below is the link to the flicker group with all the pictures.

Hmmm. With the decals missing, it's not mint condition. But, a good find nevertheless.

Oh silly me. Good point! That was just a bad choice of wording. Thanks for pointing it out and reminding me Candace!

Thank you so much Miriam! I just posted a couple pictures there to see if anyone can tell me any more information! It does seem like a 15 Clone for sure! And I love your Janie! She is just gorgeous!

Thanks for those links!
