Default Help! Trying to wire a cord block

I have a Necchi that I think needs new wires, so could I use the cord block that is there? The wires look like a lamp cord and plug. So I'm pretty sure that needs replacing. Is this something that is really hard, I'm fairly mechanical. If I run into trouble I can always call on DH. Thanks for any help!

grannysewer,

Yes you can rewire cord blocks. Basically once you get them apart, if they are the kind that come apart, just put the new wires in the same place the old wires were.

I've never done a Necchi, but I have done others and they are not that hard to do.
