I wish I could be double bad! There are next to no machines around here lately. I haven't seen much at all and the couple I saw weren't anything I was able to get my hands on. I am so green jeally!

Nice looking 101. The decals are great on yours! They're a neat machine. They were Singer's first potted motor design and are a gear driven true rotary machine like the 201 too. My daughter's 101 produces a very nice stitch. In case you don't already know, it uses regular sewing machine needles and class 66 bobbins.

Hi , Melinda, congrats on the machine. I have one also . Be sure to oil the bottom of the machine it has oil pots inside the bottom, they need to be filled so the wicking can oil the parts. you will find them when you take the machine apart for cleaning,.. Happy Sewing ,,Dottie Bug

The LEDs are under the arm, and you can't really see them while sewing except for the last one on the right. It's a strip of nine little spots of light that can be cut into threes. What shows is the red wire that goes from the last light down and behind the motor.
