Best machine ever! They pop right in and out of the cabinet and become portable. So much stronger than a featherweight yet they only weigh about 5 lbs more. It's a slant shaft, so easy to see what you are sewing, plus the bobbin area is easily accessible.

WONDERFUL!

Love your woven bags, too.

WOW--great find!!! I too have a short-bed 301A but mine is two-tone beige and I use it all the time when I meet with the quilting groups. Sews beautifully. Have fun.

Some things are meant to be! Clearly the machine found its way to someone who will appreciate it. Stories like yours remind us that the world is filled with kindness and caring. Unfortunately, the bad things make the news and the good things often go unnoticed. Thanks for reminding us.

What a wonderful story!

I wonder what price she had marked on it in the first place. I can't imagine why someone didn't buy it unless it had a very high price on it. And that isn't likely, since she was willing to give it away eventually. She must not have had any offers.

Congratulations to you!
