hope you find your afeatherweight and just wanted to let you know, there is a man in HotSprings arkansas that refurbishes them,when I saw the ones he had, he told my husband and I that he has access to the parts snd new decals for the Featherweights,he must of had 20 setting in his home,hope this will help you
I have one of the centinneal ones and gave 350. for it

You did very well on your find!!! I am running out of Featherweights and need to buy more of them. I have 3 quilt shops that I furnish repainted FW's and the Handcrank 66's to and they can not get enough of them. The 301's are going up and will be more that the FW's before long.

Be sure to post photos of her when you get her home so we all can revel in your find!!!

i would love to have one again...I lost mine in a move...stolen of course....I mean who just loses a sewing machine out of an entire 15,000 pounds of goods?

The most I've paid for a "broken" featherweight was $100,
the needle was in wrong and the bobbin case base's finger wasn't in between the throat plate springs. Its a beautiful machine that sews great and looks good too.

Oh Jacquie - That is just awful! And that is just why, when we eventually get posted (Hubby is in the Canadian Forces), my machines and quilting supplies and fabric will ALL be packed in my car by ME (assuming my fabric supply doesn't outgrow my car by then, in which case, I will fill hubby's. :lol: )
