No silly girl, I meant "I" would go get it...not you..ehhehehe
i would love to have one again...I lost mine in a move...stolen of course....I mean who just loses a sewing machine out of an entire 15,000 pounds of goods?
 You're a funny lady. :D

Oh Jacquie - That is just awful! And that is just why, when we eventually get posted (Hubby is in the Canadian Forces), my machines and quilting supplies and fabric will ALL be packed in my car by ME (assuming my fabric supply doesn't outgrow my car by then, in which case, I will fill hubby's. )
I had the 2 most expensive machines with me, but we drove from Anchorage, Ak to Oklahoma..only so much could would fit in the van with us!

That's what I was thinking - no major damage, in working order, with case and accessories, for $150? Worth it, IMO, even if I do need to have it serviced (or maybe do a bit of work on it on my own).
when a price is this low, you really need to do a hands-on inspection. especially check for any areas where paint is gone to grey metal kind of white looking.--.there can be "aluminum rot" and it is a mess to deal with & repair. be sure the bobbin case is intact ($50).decals can not be fixed or replaced unless all is repainted. but wear does not matter for sewing, just a good motor, etc. you can do the maintenance yourself. good luck !

Hope you get your FW. I haven't found one yet that I could afford, but did find a Singer Spartan which is similar in size. It's a little workhorse too. It has been there for me when the Bernina and Babylock let me down.

Hope you get it! Love mine, and the cheapest was $300, but I don't mind that mine weren't bargains.

Yahooooo! I just talked to the seller, he'd sent me an email asking when my friend would be in to pick it up. So instead of playing the email game, I called him. He told me he just wanted to see because another person was interested in the machine, but since I was first, he wanted to make sure it was a sure thing. My friend is going to pick it up tomorrow for me and he said no problem, he will delete the listing, she is MINE!!

Sometime next week, I'll be getting a new baby!! I haven't seen her in person yet, but I think I'll be naming her Little Annie, after my friend who is doing me this huge favor...of course, I'll have to wait until I see her in person to know it fits. :D

**Happy Dance** I can't wait to "meet" her!
