Super find! Really pretty and my New Home is so easy to treadle - I'm not sure why but it's much smoother than my White or Singers.

Pinkberrykay,
Great find! She looks pretty good, too. Have fun giving her a bath and all that jazz.

best,

She is a beauty and I am positive she will sew like a dream. I love my treadle. It was my grandmothers', and I am 73. It will soon be 100 years young and going strong. It was my grandmother's wedding gift from grandad.

I'm so glad this came your way. Good luck with the restoration.

~giggle~ Has anyone mentioned that the wonderful world of vintage/antique machines has a VERY slippery slope?

Score!!! I paid 95.00 for my treadle last week...worked on her with a friend and we got her all clean inside and out...and tonight we got her working....love it...use chrome cleaner on the metal...not the body...then singer oil which is 3.00 at Joanns, and 409 on the rust...do not use water on your screws. I did use a little dish cleaner missed with water for the body but only lightly damped a cloth. Good luck...your will love it...take lots of pictures before you tear her a part so you know how to put her back together.
