It feels like it is "gummy"- like old oil. It came in a homemade? box Has an oil can - the spout is a rolled cone!, several needles, screw driver and the hand/screw to go on the hand crank. The photos don't show the "dirt" - it has a few life badges but very minimal "damage". I wish it could talk or there had been some kind of note inside. But then who among us leaves notes in our favorite machine's case/drawer?
