Default My Christmas gift

Saw a treadle for sale on craigslist about 2 months ago in a town near me. Kept seeing it and finally DH said he would go and look at it while I was at a meeting. Came home and there she sat. Beautiful oak cabinet, beautiful decals, full of assorted tools and attachments. Sews perfect.......asked DH what he paid for it and he wouldn't tell me at first. Said the man was selling his grandmother's machine. On one side of the drawer, the woman wrote the date which was 1936 and that she paid $102 with a trade in. My DH finally told me he paid $30 for this machine. It was listed for $50. Can't believe how lucky I am! 2 weeks ago I bought a 99k singer which came in a case and also sews great. Craigslist will be the death of me yet.

Remember that everyone needs a good home. I thinks that must include sewing machines. I'm sure you will be a great mom and pay her lot's of attention.

Congrats!! I also have been checking craigs list for one. My hubby would just look at me and say"are you crazy? You want me to look at what?."
