Yesterday we stopped at a yard sale on a whim, and sitting there was a gorgeous Singer 301, in a cute little cabinet with matching bench seat, with storage under the seat. Opening up the seat showed all sorts of notions, including a button holer. The price? $25. DH wasn't happy about bringing home another machine, so I decided to think about it for a bit. When we went back, 30 minutes later it was gone! I really wanted it to replace the 301 I gave my stepdaughter last summer, but oh well. It's not like I don't have15-20 other machines to sew with.
