I have just purchased this machine for classes and I love it! I need to purchase a 1/4" foot, bobbins, and get the "perfect" oil for her. Any suggestions as to where is the best place to purchase these things for my little girl?

Congrats on Finding the Kenmore 1030! I had a 1040 that I sold to my former boss for her daughter to take to 4H sewing. I currently have a 1050 to fix up, but my friend wants it for her class machine. They are really cute and great machines!
They will use standard low shank feet and attachments and class 15 bobbins you can get at any sewing shop or online. I prefer Tri-Flo to regular sewing machine oil and you can find that in many hardware stores or bike shops.

Holli, now that you have one vintage machine, others will call out to you to be taken home... Congrats on your first one! You've been bitten by the Vintage Sewing Machine Bug. There's no cure.....
