Default Like I need another Pfaff

Saw a Kijiji listing for a Pfaff 1221 in a cabinet. Hoping to go see it - pictures where fuzzy - but it looks like a possibility to join the other 3 Pfaffs (1222's). Seller tells me it is actually mounted in the cabinet. Am interested to see how that was done as I thought they were only set into them. Can't pass it up for the price - $100. As long as the camstack is still good.
My kids will have a fit since I'm supposed to be downsizing. I think this will make an even dozen SM. But I am selling my FW222 so that should count for something...

My kids threatened to disown me at 30 machines but finally gave up complaining. Now(at 80+) they just roll their eyes.

Can never have enough Pfaffs can you?
Not sure I could sell a 222 though, if I ever find one. The only thing saving me is that I live in the middle of nowhere, so any machine I find is over 100 miles away.

Love my 1222, received it for Christmas in 1971 and it is still sewing like a dream. I also have 4-5 other Pfaffs and love them all. I do have other machines as well. You just can't have too many.

Yes. Theoretically it can happen. I have too many machines, but I don't have enough. I have some that I really don't want and there are some that I don't have but want.

I have a 1222 from the early 1970s, too! It was inoperable for a couple of years til I heard of a technician who could fix anything -- and he did. He used the stuff mechanics use to clean up nasty oily engines, and freed up the parts that had cemented themselves together over the years. Good old workhorse, just too heavy to 'travel'.
