Default Macy's Herald Deluxe Zig Zag Sewing Machine (Beauty)

S/N C99-29523. I found this machine today in Goodwill store in Stuart, Fl. Machine is like new, Green in case. Someone loved it and took good care of it. However, it needs a bobbin case. Other than that, needle moves freely, light works, everything about it is wonderful. Does anyone know where I can get a bobbin case? Or perhaps would a Singer Bobbin work? I would love to post photo of this beauty, but camera needs battery. Hopefully some one will know something/anything about her. Any assistance will be helpful. Thanks. It is made in Japan.

Odds are it will take a regular Class 15 bobbin case. If it is a front loading set up it should use the case with the wide needle slot. You can get these at Sew-Classic { http://www.shop.sew-classic.com/ }.

Sorry, I didn't know really what the terminology was. The Bobbin case moves freely, its the BOBBIN HOLDER that the bobbin sits in that I need. Thank you for answering so promptly. I love the looks of this machine, she is so beautiful it almost hurts to look at her.

The little holder that the bobbin sits in is the bobbin case.

Here's Sew-Classic's listing page: { http://www.shop.sew-classic.com/Bobb...-Parts_c23.htm } .

Thanks again Joe. Camera is recharged now. Will take photo and post it today later. I ordered the case and bobbins from the site.

I couldn't manage to find the "tree icon" to upload photo, so I made it my avatar, so at least you can see it. Thanks again for your help.

couldn't manage to upload pic, but did manage to make her m y avatar. At least you can see her. She is a pea green on the top, and a pretty metallic on the bed and 1/2 way up the machine.

She looks quite nice from what I can see. Try to post a larger pic when you get a chance. Thanks for sharing.
