Default 401A has new home

The 401A is finished and tested out by my wife. This 401A runs, sounds and sews great, looks new and has very little wear. She has finished seven quilt backs after the tests and it looks like the machine has found its new home.

Very nice! If your wife is happy, you're happy. I like that table it's on too.

Ken,

Very nice. Sitting right next to her brother machine.

That's a cool work bed surrounding the 401, my wife was curious where you got it. So am I.

The table came with my Pfaff 1200 that is on my Inspira quilting frame. The machine is setting on a ¾” piece of laminated birch plywood and this makes it the correct height for the fixed legs on the table. The table from my Janome 6500 will also fit Singer 400's & 500's. I am making a table for my Elna Supermatic and will post a picture when it is completed.
