Default Old Commercials...

Found this while I was looking for something to help Joe and Elaine with their cabinet problem this morning...

All of them are amusing, but the Singer commercial starts about 7:18 minutes into the video....

There's another Singer commercial at the end.

Wish I was on DSL or some other high speed internet service. I'll just have to pretend I see the commercials.

Great viewing Charlee - ooh what lovely frocks!

Did Mrs. Housewife wash her dishes with her petticoats?

And why has the lady who keeps her coffee in the fridge got a man's voice?

Muv, I think the times indicated that men do the voice overs... Men had more authority and were smarter than women. (At least we women let them think so! )

I want the fridge (and the toaster!) from the Nonesuch coffee ad with a wantingness. Thanks for posting-those were fun!

Very interesting Charlee and in some places quite funny. It struck me funny that the husband in the last Singer commercial just sat there and let the cat claw up the arm of his chair. Her new Singer sewn decor looks like photos of my grandmother's living room in the 40s.

Joe, I'm with you in not being able to see them. I'll send myself an e-mail with them and then try seeing them when we are at our daughter's home. They have high speed there. Maybe you can get Miriam to show them to you when you are at her home. Tell her that you need to see them before you help her with her machines. Ya, that's a little bit of blackmail, but it might work.
