Aren't you excited? Wow! such a nice gift from DH. And I see a quilting frame in the background...you are adding some great stuff to your studio, I see!! Congratulations!
I am very excited, your right you do see a quilt frame, DH is doing the master bedroom over for my new sewing room. It's the largest room and still won't be big enough.LOL

Did she come with attachments? Those 66-1 attachments can be hard to find, but you do see them on ebay if you watch for them...
Her name is Memere. My Memere taught me to sew and I wish she was still with me. I tell everyone she is waiting for me in the big sewing room in the sky.
She did come with some attachments and 1 bobbin. I really just plan on admiring how beautiful she is.

Congrats! I am lucky to have one that looks like her twin. Mine was my grandfather's gift to my grandmother when they got married about 1916 or 17. Until my mom had to be moved to a nursing home about 3 years ago, our family redeye 66 was used regularly. I want to give her (the machine) a little facelift then I will post a picture. One of the few times I wish I was a little shorter, my legs are too long to treadle.
