Today I decided to start working on my treadle and while cleaning I broke the leather belt before I did the machine sewed like a dream I just have to learn how to fix the bottom tension which will be easy but this is such an amazing thing to think that years ago my grandmother sewed on the same type of machine. I am so excited to start using it to sew my quilts what a treat!

Happy Birthday and congratulations on your find. My MIL has the singer she had before she was married, it is not a tredle it has a motor on it, she doesn't use it, no one does. It will not go to me though because I am not a DTR. Enjoy it, hope you get it all figured out and start sewing with your friend. Hugs.
