Why are you wanting to change out the feed dogs?
Charlee, there was some rust on them, I got them cleaned up pretty good. Will do more later. I oiled, lubed and got it going. Had to learn how to thread and to start the bobbin, lol.. a little different. I had some problems with the feed dogs rubbing against the needle plate, finally got it to sewing. It would bind up and not move(feed dogs) then it would move and then stop. I took needle plate off and finally got it to lay right. Not sure if there is an adjustment on the plate or not? Other that that it has been so much fun to operate it. I love it and am so glad i have Her. What feet do you use for Her, do you use speciail one for Her. Thanks Charlee for coming in on this, I trust your advice as well as others. I have had a great response on this. Love this QB.

That is what I am going to do too, I can't see me hiding Her. She is so cute. If I could afford them I would have one of every color I could find, lol.

Granny, you can get bobbins for Louise from Sew Classic. She uses the low or short shank feet, which are easy to come across. I have bought rolling yarn totes from Michaels to house my featherweights when I want to take them with me. You can also use rolling scrap booking totes as they are also smaller than the regular sewing machine totes. How old is Louise? She will be a wonderful companion for sewing.

Congrats, I have two and love them both..... Cases sell for about $40.00 ... Sew-classic have all the bobbins and belts etc.
I would have her checked out, greased and oiled and she'll purr like a kitten
