Default my SECOND rocketeer!! =))

I actually took a better picture (w/o my daughter streaking a blur thru it) but it won't upload. I also got a green handled Singer tracing wheel (very heavy) and another tiny screwdriver; they aren't pictured!

The needle position lever is NOT frozen -- I finally realized I needed to push it in first!

=)

it got left in the car!! =) I do have it though!

oddly enough, the wheel feels ' loose' when you turn it. it definitely grabs the needle . . . but . . ..

have you ever driven a straight that had lots of play in the gearshift? it feels like that, but it works!

The hand wheel gear has a spring set up that cushions the fiber gear as the machine speed surges. I have three machines set up like that and they all have that loose feeling. But get them clean and properly lubed and they sew like a dream.

Aw Joe, those will work fine without the top. It's just prettier with the top.

Lara - every Rocketeer needs someone streaking through the photo...it makes it more Rocketeerish! Enjoy your new machine, they're terrific!
