There is NO WAY I could have passed this up. You have a tremendous treasure. Whatevery it costs to restore it will be worth every penny. Sure would love to see this in treadle cabinet.

Well, it also came in this pretty little cabinet :D . I paid $150.00 and I don't know if it was too much but I didn't care---it was coming home with me
Wow that is up there but this is a good specimen with the exception of the electrical added. I would find a really nice treadle and then slip it back into it and lose the motor and light.

I'm cheap when it comes to paying for a machine, and seldom pay over $25 for one...*I* would have paid $150 for this one...even with the alterations! You got a great machine! :)

I have 2 cabinets, both have red-eyes in them but I won't mind switching one of them out. I just got 3 new belts in the mail the other day! Do I just unscrew the motor and take it off. What did you mean when you said that they switched the bobbin winder? Plus it looks like something is missing on the thing that is sticking out of the front just below the badge.

That is one gorgeous piece of machinery! I think it's worth the $150 whether it works or not.

This is a beautiful machine - I am still in awe that there are so many of them that are viable.
