That's a Singer 301. They were made around 1953. That one looks like its had a hard life. They are a great machine when they are cleaned up. Not only is it a great machine in a cabinet, there is a lever that you push and the machine lifts right out so that you can take it to a class or whatever. Singer 301's are considered the big sister to the Featherweight. They are a lightweight full sized machine with a handle on top for carrying. They take slant shank attachements.
If it were me I would offer them less for the machine.
Good Luck!

Price is NOT ok! Do you see the missing paint and rust on this machine? I can't see it being worth more than $25!!

I have 5 of these. Love them. But agree the machine needs a lot of love. I see quite a bit of rust and I would imagine there's rust on the inside as well. I would also offer much less based on the condition of the machine.

I agree 301's are wonderful machines but that machine may need a lot of work plug it in and see how she runs first, if she dosen't you may need to take a pass but keep watching I use mine all the time and love her even more than my featherweight.

She might clean up OK. Bobbin case, if there and in decent shape, is worth $30-$40. Gotta be worth 50 with BC, too much work for 95.

Not if the bobbin case is rusty, which likely it is.

Nicer looking one in the DFW area, much less. If you want a project, and the black one is grimy and not rusty, you could use it for bargaining.

The flower stitch attachment for a slant shank is probably worth the $50! I'd be ON this one!!
