Default Need a little help with two machines

I just purchased a White zigzag model 3355 sewing machine in the beautiful teal and white ($5 at a garage!) I did not get the cams with it and I cannot find them anywhere. Could you please help me figure out if there is a similar cam that can be used with them or if you have any idea where I could get them would be awesome. I would post pics but I have no idea how to with my phone.

I also purchased a 99- is this similar to a 221? It is about 30 lbs lighter than the white!

The 99 is a 3/4 size version of the Singer 66. Not related to a 221 except for being lighter..due to being a bit smaller. I am not familiar with the White machine but I am sure with some research you will find some cams! Does it run?

Cute machines! I have no help on the cams but love the color (and price!). A 99 and 221 aren't really the same except that they're both lightweight little straight stitchers. The 99 is a 3/4 machine with a horizontal (drop in) class 66 bobbin. The 221 is considered a 1/2 size machine with a vertical bobbin that is unique to itself, 222 and 301 machines. Both sew very nice stitches and both are fun machines to use made my singer, use standard needles and do the same thing so they're close cousins, I'd say. It looks like your 99 is missing the bobbin plate, which is common from the one's I've seen. Your LSMG/LSMS may have a graveyard of parts machines to grab one from. Have fun with them, you got some great deals and good little machines!

Nifty Thrifty Girl has a video on Youtube here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xMD--oPsVs that shows the cams so you can see what you are looking for.

Quiltforme,

A featherweight is very much smaller and different than a 99. Here is a picture of a FW:

Is there implied humour here, or is the photo wackiness because I'm in Australia?

Thought that too (smart phone, that is). So smart that they know it's upside down so will turn it the right way when you view it but don't tell you or offer to save it that way.

The funniest thing is that it's become so normal that people don't even mention it any more if it's upside down!
