What do you mean by left hand take up lever? Is it because it is on the face of the head?

I call it left handed because it isn't easily reachable from one sitting and operating a machine. One either has to stand up to thread it, or move it so the faceplate can be reached easily. A minor complaint, but if one were going to use it for hours each day it would be a pain.

Rocsew, the crinkle machine does not have a winder off the motor. It will remain a mystery for a while. At least I have ways to wind bobbins without using that machine.

Thank you. I looked closer and can see what you mean.
