I absolutely love this machine. I bought a walking foot for when I was making stockings and I was completely amazed. I was worried how it would handle that many layers but it breezed right through. I'm actually planning on making my 1st quilt on it. I'm going to put the ruffler foot on it and see what it does.

The 201 is the most elegant of the Singers. Quiet, smooth, reliable and easy to use with its drop-in bobbin. It and the model 15 are the best straight-stitch domestic machines that Singer produced.
