It's probably not worth that much, and it's certainly not to me, I don't like Godzilla finishes....but it is a rather hard to find item.

Me either, although I guess they would not show scratches as easy.
I just found worse:

My SIL found one at an estate sale, that's why we were looking them up. I am unclear about whether she thought it had this finish.
LOL - I mistakenly called it a "Gorilla" Finish Charlee! Godzilla! Got it!

who ever baught it must of been nuts, 16 bids on it. the person who posted it was probabley in on the bidding getting the price up maybe don't know
