Default Parts for 328-K (Singer)

About a year ago, our local Sewing Machine Store burned to the ground -- cause some electrical problems. The problem: This dealer had hundreds to thousands of parts for vintage sewing machines, including Singer. That is all gone now.

The reason for this thread: I am looking for my Singer 328K. I've had this machine since it was new -- it was a Christmas present from my husband the first year we were married! It still sews great and does a fantastic job!

Anyone have any ideas as to where this particular part could be located for purchase at a reasonable price?

Thank you!

What part are you looking for Jeanette? Jenny at Sew Classic has many of the parts you might need for it.

My 328K is out on loan....I'm really looking forward to getting her back!

Charlee, I'm looking for a bobbin case. Mine is not down right now, but I've had some minor problems with the bobbin -- just don't want them to become major, like being shut down! I'll contact Jenny at Sew Classic! Thank you!

I too have a Singer 328K, in great shape. I don't use it much but, for many years I did, it will be 49 YO in November, bought it new.

I saw some parts for the Singer 328K sewing machine on sewingpartsonline.com yesterday when looking for other things yesterday. They have different stuff than sew-classic.com. Lots of parts there for lots of machines. Good luck.

This is who I have been working with to get my newly acquired 328K up and running. Lynne has been really great. It took awhile to get my initial question answered but that was because she had been having a hard time finding out what I needed and from where.
