Default Crinkle finish and other ugly finish machine thread

I decided that since we all love and adore the crinkle finish machines I'd start a picture thread about them. So, here is my six machines. Post yours and we'll have a crinkley good time.

1: KENMORE Mdl 117-812, made in 1948 for Sears by the White Sewing Machine Co.
Brown crinkle finish.

2: "Betty"; KENMORE Mdl 120-491, made in 1954 for Sears by the New Process Gear division of Chrysler Motor Corp.. Gold hammered finish.

3: "Mr. Crinkle"; Singer 66-18, made in 1940 by Singer.
Black crinkle finish.

Mr. Crinkle lives in a nice shiny bentwood case. Little does he know that it's a Chinese copy of the real thing. I won't tell him though, he might start skipping stitches.

4: "Mrs. Crinkle"; Singer 66-18, made in 1950 by Singer.
Black crinkle finish.

5: "Gertrude"; Singer 66-18, made in 1952 by Singer.
Black crinkle finish.

So, here's the story. Gertrude is Mrs. Crinkles younger sister. When Mr. Crinkle was courting he just couldn't make up his mind. They were so very alike yet, Gertrude had more toys and a library, and he loved them both so much ...... well, he married them both. So since polygamy is frowned upon we won't tell.

6: Louise; WHITE DRESSMASTER Mdl 127M, made in 1955 by the WHITE SEWING MACHINE CO.
Dark olive green crinkle finish.

Louise got her name because someone, probably her first owner carved their name in the rear edge of her case: F. Louise Stanley. She's one of my favorites.

OK, now you've seen all my crinkles and odd finished machines in one place. So, everyone, start posting yours.

Would that be Chris Crinkle? >;-D

My, you have a lot of those crinkle machines. Someone wanted to sell me a dk green crinkle White in cavinet for only $10. Should I have grabbed it?

I really always wanted one of those Kenmores. But I want to repaint it in something wildly Art Deco.

My godzilla finish machine is hiding in it's case because it's so ugly. They're not my thing at all.

^ A crinkle "locomotive" Kenmore, not mine, but is for sale near where i live. Here's the oil bottle, which I think is really cool. Looks a bit like liquor. I'd have to name that machine Sam Spade or Jake Gittes or some other film noir name, wouldn't I. Complete except for glass ashtray.

Dang, that machine is starting to look very attactive, lol.

Default crinkle Singer 306k

I owned this Singer 306k crinkle for about 7 or 8 years. I sold it in December 2012. It might have been a school machine, because it came in a blonde laminate table-type cabinet that looked kind of institutional. I had to jettison the cabinet when I moved.

MadCow,

Those are some neat Kenmores, especially the last one. But I do like that Singer. Never seen a 306 crinkle.

Candace,
Ship the poor thing thisa way. I'll adopt it.

The tan crinkle is the absolute worst color to keep clean. They (tan crinkle 306) come up for sale fairly often. Black is more popular. There is a matching tan Singer light that goes on there, but the insulation was bad so I just took it off and never got around to fixing it.
