I agree, its' worth it if you love it. It is so hard to find great deals on machines or fabric (I have checked all our thrift stores and never find anything) I also live in FLorida, Miami!

You only go around once in this old life, if you can afford it and you want it go for it!!!! I would love to have a FW but will have to wait until I find a good deal. Enjoy it and don't work about what you paid for it.

I think you paid a fair amount. You got the sewing table with it AND the box doesn't stink.
I've seen those table go for a few hundred itself so your deal, not bad.
Congratulations!
BTW-I paid dearly for my FW 222K. Reason I fell in love with it...box didn't stink and free arm.

Just enjoy your new baby. If you didn't spend it, your kids would. Have fun!

I'm happy for you. Enjoy your new find, and forget about the $$$. If you aren't starving yourselves to buy it, then it was worth every penny.

It seems like where you live or find a FW sets the price.
Where I live you can't find a FW and if you can the price is high.
If you wanted the machine and were willing to pay that price, it's not too much!
Have fun with it, I love mine, high price or not.

The market is what the market is...in your area that probably isn't too much. In others, yes, it would be a little much. But as long as you are happy with your deal, then it's a good one.

Be happy with it, and don't look back. :-) Congratulations on your FW, and especially on that table...they are getting harder to find.
