A $4 case for a $4 FW

This Ugly Duckling that I rescued, didn't come with a case. But these plastic file boxes show up at GW and the likes, and the machine fits nicely in it. Even has a seperate compartment in the lid for accessories.
I think it keeps out moisture pretty well, as it's hanging out in the garage for now. Here's how it fits. Cheers! |
Now there is a great idea!! Thanks!!!

I didn't get a case with my FW. I appreciate the idea. Thanks!

Oh, that's a great idea. I just acquired a filing cabinet so I have two of these boxes empty. Now I just need my featherweight to appear and I can so without a case easy.
|
Now that's what I call really stretching your $$$$$$. Featherweight, case and change from a ten. My kind of gal.
|
Wonderful idea but beware of moisture in plastic containers.
|
Great idea!

I have similar cases, but I need the FW. Good idea.

Wow, what a deal! Throw a few of the silica crystal packages that are in shoeboxes in the bottom for moisture.

! use a small rolling carry on case from the thrift store for $5 instead of my case. Holds projects, notions, and small rulers and templates. Much easier for me- I can carry it by the handle or roll since I use a cane. I tried a plastic file box but mine was too flimsy. Wouldn't want to drop my machine!
