*** Bernette 330 questions

I was given a Bernette 330 that looks in really good condition.
It has all the feet, bobbin holder, & instruction booklet, cover, NO BOBBINS,
BUT
only has one (1) side of the feed dogs.

My questions:

*** How old is it?
*** What will it cost to replace the feed dogs?
*** What type bobbins does it use?
*** Is it worth spending the $$$ on?

Call Bernina U.S.A. Web site - { http://www.berninausa.com/ }. They should be able to answer your questions. You might find the answers to some of them in the site itself.

I picked up a Bernette 715 recently that had nothing with it. Bernina has the manuals for discoutinued models available on the website. Mine is about mid-90s, yours is probably similar. The Bernettes are not made by Bernina in Switzerland, they are their economy models made in Asia. They generally use generic snap-on feet and class 15 bobbins. In researching, I found that there is a Necchi model that is a twin to my 715. Since it is somewhat generic, I would guess you would be able to find feed dogs for yours and they won't be terribly expensive. Probably available from Brewer, I would think.
