A little disapointed it is not much "Bigger" than the 27 treadle maachine, though it has a much more "Massive" feel to it

it is a full rotary hook though not really large

According to this site, my machine is a wittenberge made in 1929.

Well, it may not be a 27, but I like it. I so think those oel holes are neat. More machines could benefit from having the oil holes marked. They'd probably be over oiled then rather than dry, but that's OK.

Is the gal in the back ground in the turquoise shirt and fingernails your daughter? Love the color coordination.

oh yes, that's my Daughter, Social butterfly and fashionista. also the only one interested in my old machines. She is getting the 128 in gloss black with pretty decals.

Hmmm, put a needle in the machine and have done the chrome polish bit on much of the brightwork. it is shaping up ok. the trouble I have now is the "Captive" thread spool, my heavy thread is in one pound spools and wont fit that, so I have yet to form a stitch with it. Still looking for a machine to wind my bobbin with as well, Sometime this weekend should have me testing her out though.
