1884 Singer IF with Wild Rose(?) Ornamentation
Hi everyone. I finished my 1884 Singer IF. I've talked to some Singer experts and they say that this ornamentation is not listed on ISMACS or Needlebar websites and is not currently named.....so I'm calling it Wild Rose until a better name is established! I've created a post on my blog about the machine which has tons of detailed pics. Please check it out and let me know what you think! Thanks.

I don't know what the tradition is with respect to naming machinery or the tradition of naming flora on machines. I kind of like it because "ferrum" is Latin for iron which is what the machine was made of. Just a thought. |
