1904 standard slim
 

I was able to get the spider for my standard slim, but I don’t have the needle plate required. I’m new to vintage machines. I have a singer red 66?red eye. But it was in good condition. I recently acquired the standard from a friend who was moving. I just retired and love vintage machines. The cabinet was in great shape , but the machine is not. It had no bobbin, bobbin case or spider and plate. I was lucky to buy a bobbin case 1 bobbin and a spider. Any info on where I can purchase a few bobbins and spider needle plate?? Love this forum. Welcome to the QB from SE Michigan! You are in the right place for vintage machine lovers. I have 14 vintage machines and that seems to be all I have to sew on anymore. I am no good at giving advise on repairs and have limited knowledge about all of my machines but I do love to play with all of them. Bobbins for 1904 Standard slim
 

I am looking forward to all the friendly posts on this forum.
As I only have one bobbin for my machine, I am going to try other vintage bobbins. I am in the midst of cleaning this machine so haven’t tried, but I think that if a bobbin fits. As long as it is neither too loose or too snug that it should work. I will let you know when I try.
