I got this at an auction for $25.00 and it sews just fine. Cabinet was a little rough, but will try and refinish it. It had all kinds of attachments. I'm 'sew' happy with it, just wanted to share. I hope the picture comes through. Seems I have all kinds of problems when I want to post a picture.

Love my 15-91! If I could only keep 1 machine, that would be it. I found mine at an auction too. :)

Really nice, there is something that draws us to these older machines, and it's not just their reliability. They have a special charm.

How do you know the number 15-91, and does that mean anything special?

Charlee 02-13-2012 07:43 AM

We can tell by the shape of the machine, and the location of the tension dial on the faceplate that the machine is a model 15, that we can't see a belt to "drive" the machine, tells us that it's got a "potted" motor. Machines with those features are models 15-91. :)
