1937 Singer parts

My sister found this fabulous machine for me. It looks to be in wonderful shape, except for the power cord and drive belt. I think it's a 1937 Class 128 Singer, based on the serial number. I can replace the power cord I'm sure. But where would I find a belt for this machine?

sew-classic should have a belt for this machine. They carry lots of parts for older machines.

i had contacted my local sewing machine store and they carried them.

Nice machine! Lucky you! I agree with Sew Classic for older machine parts and accessories. I got a walking foot and a 1/4 inch foot for my 301a and my Rocketeer from them.

It's easiest to measure the existing belt. Note down the outer cirumference and you can order from several places on the web. Sew Classic has good quality belts, and I once managed to track down a black V-belt on ebay I couldn't find else where at the time.

Everything shows up on eBay sooner or later. My husband has found several hard to locate car parts for unusual cars on eBay.

Nice looking machine. I agree with the others, Sew Classic is a great source for parts.
